Whether you have a few days off for Christmas or are on winter break for school or work, this is the time to wind down, relax, and prepare for the new year. DC Movie Collection

Recently added to the Netflix library, the DC movie collection can take you all the way through winter break. These movies are already great contenders for getting high before you watch and with more than ten new additions to the Netflix collection, you’ll be entertained for hours or days.

What’s on the list? You can watch Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Shazam!, Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020), Wonder Woman: 1984 (2020) The Suicide Squad, DC League of Super-Pets, The Batman, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Don’t forget to light up or nibble on an infused gummy before launching in and you’re all set for a good time.

Bad Trip

In the mood for an easy, unserious watch? Give Bad Trip a shot. Starring comedian, actor, and overall goofball Eric Andre, this hidden-camera movie is a hilarious twist on a road trip movie. This silly and lighthearted movie takes everything to the extremes, following two best friends taking a road trip from Florida to New York. They’re making the trip so one of the friends can declare his love to his high school crush. A good idea, right? To make it better, they’re being followed the whole way, because they stole a car to make the trip.

If you’re looking for something absurd, ridiculous, and easy to watch, Bad Trip is a great option. Just make sure you’ve gotten adequately high before pressing play.

Black Mirror Bandersnatch

For those interested in a more interactive approach, Black Mirror Bandersnatch is an innovative and fun way to watch a movie. The interactive film blends elements of video games and movies, making it the perfect watch/play for a stoned session.

In this film, you play the main character, making decisions for a young programmer who is turning a fantasy gamebook into a real videogame in the ‘80s. As you go through the movie, you are presented with various choices and given ten seconds to make decisions or have a default choice selected for you.

The perfect selection for someone who has a hard time sitting through movies or just wants something new to spice things up, Bandersnatch is a great film to watch while high.

Dune: Part One

Science fiction lovers (and high people) are sure to love Dune: Part One. This science fiction movie is part one of a two-part twist on the 1965 novel of the same name. It’s set in the future and follows a deadly war on a desert planet. Whether you’re a fan of sci-fi or just along for the ride, you’ll be sure to enjoy the epic CGI, stunning visuals, great music, and talented cast.

We Have A Ghost

Combining all the best parts of supernatural, comedy, and horror movies, We Have A Ghost is a hilarious movie featuring David Harbour, Jennifer Coolidge, Anthony Mackie, and more.

The plot centers around a family purchasing a cheap abandoned house and quickly discovering a ghost in the attic. They go on to post a video of the ghost on Youtube, and the rest is history.

It may not be the most critically acclaimed movie, but it is a good, lighthearted watch for those who want to get high and laugh out loud.

Goosebumps (2015)

Speaking of lighthearted combinations of comedy and scares, the 2015 Goosebumps film is a great choice for a winter break Netflix binge. The movie stars notable names including Jack Black and centers around a young kid moving from the city to a small town. He quickly falls for his neighbor before learning that her father is R.L. Stine, the author of the famous Goosebumps series. After accidentally releasing the monsters from the books, it’s up to a few powerful characters to return the creatures back to their books.

Nostalgic, quirky, and fun, this fantastical story is a perfect choice for a night spent cozied up with hot chocolate and weed.

Good Boys

This coming-of-age comedy centers around three young boys who ditch school in preparation for a major party they get invited to. Somewhere along the way, they end up naively carrying around someone else’s ecstasy they plan to trade for a drone, which they will use to spy on the girls they want to kiss at the party. The plot goes off the rails and the boys end up on an epic journey. Raunchy and hilarious, this is another great film for a weed-infused binge night.
